Pneumatic butterfly valve Overview
Pneumatic butterfly valve is composed of double (single) acting piston type actuator and butterfly valve. Connecting methods are double-clip type and flange type and its valve seat applies rubber, fluoroplastics and stainless steel bead welding so as to significantly increase its range of application. Double-clip pneumatic butterfly valve has the advantages of simple structure, small size and light weight. Pneumatic piston type actuator adopts low friction material; with inside and outside surfaces of cylinder body conducted with hard anodizing anticorrosion treatment, service life of cylinder is significantly increased.
Pneumatic butterfly valve has stable operating performance and is widelyused in industrial departments like petrochemical, metallurgy, electric power, light industry and medicine.
For installation of butterfly valve, close the valve first and then install it to avoild any damage on sealing face of butterfly plate. Two pipe flangesshould be in parallel so that the contact pressure between the valve andpipe flange is even. Inner bore of pipe flange should not be too big andmake sure it’s not bigger than 5mm in case the pressed position on pressing plate is not right and the plate deforms and loses effect.

Body materials can be cast iron, ductile iron, stainless steel, WCB, etc, and the dis materials can be ductile iron (nickel coated cast iron and Nylon coated cast iron are available). Valve seat materials consist of neoprene, silicone, hypalon, Viton, Buna N, and EPDM.
