In the process of opening and closing the globe valve, the opening height is small, the flow rate is easy to adjust, and the manufacture and maintenance are convenient, and the pressure is applicable to a wide range.
Compared with another kind of cut-off valve, which is commonly used in industrial production, the globe valve is simpler and easier to manufacture and maintain than the former. From the service life, the cut-off valve cover is not easy to wear and scratch, during the valve opening and closing process, there is no relative sliding between the disc and the seat seal cover, so the wear and scratch on the sealing surface is small, so the service life of the seal pair globe valve is small in the process of full closure, and its height is smaller than that of the valve. The disadvantage of the globe valve is that the opening and closing torque is large and it is difficult to realize the rapid opening and closing. Because the flow channel in the valve body is tortuous and the fluid flow resistance is large, the fluid power is lost in the pipeline.
