Gate valve type classification!

According to the power can be divided into:

1.automatic valve mainly rely on the strength of the medium itself to operate the valve. Such as pressure reducing valve, check valve, drain valve, safety valve and so on.

2.Drive valve rely on manpower, hydraulic, electric, pneumatic and other external forces to operate the valve. Such as globe valve, gate valve, throttle valve, disc valve, ball valve, plug valve and so on. According to the structural characteristics can be divided into: 1 door shape: the closure will move along the center line of the valve seat. Gate shape: the closure will move along the center line perpendicular to the seat.

3.plug shape: the closing piece is usually a plunger or ball, rotating around its own center line.

4.rotation opening: the shutter rotates mainly around an axis outside the seat.

5.Disc shape: the closure is a disk that rotates around the shaft in the seat. 

6.Slide valve shape: the shutter slides mainly in a direction perpendicular to the channel.

The purpose can be divided into:

1.breaking: used to cut off or switch on the medium of the pipeline. Such as a ball valve, a gate valve, a plug valve, and the like. 2.Adjustment: The pressure or flow of the medium used to adjust. Such as a pressure reducing valve, a regulating valve.             3.Distribution: The flow direction of the medium used to change, which plays a role in the distribution.                                           4.Reutilization: to prevent backflow of the medium, such as a check valve.                                                                           5.Safety: when the pressure of the medium exceeds the specified value, the excess medium is discharged to ensure the safety of the equipment. Such as a safety valve, an accident valve.                                                                                                   6.The gas-blocking and drainage: the gas is retained, and the condensate, such as the drain valve, is removed.

According to the control method can be divided into: 

1.manual valve: with the help of handle, lever, handwheel, sprocket, gear, worm gear, etc., mainly by manpower to control the valve. 

2.Electric valve: mainly with the help of electricity to operate the valve.

3.Pneumatic valve: mainly operated by compressed air.

4.Hydraulic valve: mainly with the help of water, oil and other liquids, will transfer external force to operate the valve.

According to the pressure can be divided into: 

1.vacuum valve: absolute pressure less than 1 kg / cm 2 valve. 

2.Low pressure valve: valve with nominal pressure less than 16 kg / cm 2.

3.Medium pressure valve: nominal pressure 25 kg / cm 2 valve.

4.High pressure valve: valve with nominal pressure of 100 kg / cm 2.

5.Ultra-high pressure: valves with nominal pressure of up to or greater than 1000 kg / cm 2.
